The Satori's flip-out frame is stable enough and the multi-piece assembly includes different wheel size options and a front wheel block. The narrow metal roller sheath limits sideways adjustment, so we couldn’t stop excessive axle twist and bike yaw when sprinting.
The remote bar lever gives 10 magnetic resistance levels, from recovery to leg-ruining, and the extra large flywheel keeps it reasonably smooth. It’s generally quiet but there’s vibration at higher speeds. A mechanical problem meant we were unable to get a sound level measurement, but Tacx turbos are generally reliable.
