Our review
A very comfortable and great looking shoe that’ll take the knocks without losing its looks

The Pro Carbons were great-feeling shoes. Our initial thoughts were that they were a bit bling and maybe more race-oriented, but those impressions were completely blown away on our first test ride.

The synthetic outer is tough with hard, plastic-injected toes and heels and it shrugs off hard knocks really well.

The nylon outer sole gives a really solid transfer of power and the tread is pretty meaty, with two replaceable studs up front. They offer good traction in mud but are pretty skittery on rocks and roots.

The real comfort here lies in the Ergo Logic insole. A lot of work has been put into it, it’s shaped to support the arch of the foot and has separate softer density foam inserts on the bottom for the ball and heel of the foot.

Microfiber inserts ensure great airflow and add to the overall design so this should be a good choice of shoe come summer.
