Bearing a strong family resemblance to their Comp and Pro shoes, the Sport is Specialized’s entry road model, but still offers good value. The injection-moulded, fibreglass-reinforced sole has a large ventilation channel to the front and rear of the cleat mount, and walking bumpers.
Synthetic leather and tough nylon mesh uppers offer good ventilation, and the Body Geometry insoles instantly feel supportive. A well padded and shaped tongue spreads the tension evenly from three Velcro straps, making for an ultra-efficient shoe with great power delivery. Good all-round performance makes them a fine first shoe and great budget racer.
