As comfortable as a pair of slippers, these lightweight shoes feature supple, well-upholstered uppers with mesh panels and reflective flashes, plus a thick, shaped tongue to spread the load from the three Velcro straps.
A skinny 7.5mm-deep composite fibreglass and nylon sole gives the Mavics great feel, and while not race rigid, they fit well and are a good compromise between stiffness and comfort.
Small vents at each end of the sole aid cooling, and useful indicators help with accurate cleat fitting. These would make great all-day shoes for riders who value comfort over outright performance.
