These are intended as lightweight overshoes for spring and autumn training sessions. Prendas is actually selling them short, though, and the Ventstoppers will easily add warmth on colder days. You put them on like a sock, which can be a bit of a struggle, but once on the tight fit hugs the shoes and feels light and unrestrictive. The front is lined with Ventstopper material to block out the wind and light showers.
Inside, the fabric has a brushed finish for warmth and the overshoes soon heat up once you get going. Their appearance is sleek once you've got them on and although they won't take the knocks and scrapes as well as heavy duty neoprene boots, their strength lies in their reduced bulk and light feel.
