Our review
For flat pedal riders who want performance – and looks

With high-top styling like a basketball boot, toughened uppers and a stealth rubber sole, the Line King is both great looking and functional as a flat pedal mountain bike shoe.

The toe box is robust enough to ward off hits from rocks, and the combination of a sturdy heel box and tall ankle protection offer great support and lots of protection from both the cranks and any trail hazards you might meet.

With the support gained from the high top, the line king feels substantially stiffer than the other casual low tops – positioning them nicely as an option between Five Ten's high performance Impact, Sam Hill and Karver models.
