If you’re a woman, and you ride flat pedals, these shoes will be perfect for you

The single most important development for flat pedal riders in recent years has been Stealth rubber soles for mountain bike shoes.

FiveTen’s female version of the Karver is the first women-specific flat pedal shoe we’ve seen. It shares the same design as its bigger brother, although it doesn’t have a lace cover like the original Karver shoe does.

The Karver Women has a sturdy heel and toebox, high inside ankle padding and is sized for smaller, thinner feet. The sole grips the pedal like nothing else.

Although the uppers aren’t waterproof, the tough fabric resists the weather very well, and they stay comfy even when wet. The colour also looks great. Our only gripe is we don’t get the lace cover that the men’s shoe does.
