Lightweight, breathable and quick drying, the Razors are among the coolest race-style shoes we've tested. Their mesh panels and perforated tongue make them great for summer riding. However, they're relatively expensive.
The mesh on top means your toes are quite vulnerable. The small toe box helps, but isn’t as protective as some.
The Velcro straps and micro ratchet ensure a secure fit, while the ample ankle and heel padding provides a comfy pedalling platform.
The midsoles aren’t as stiff as, say, the Specialized Comp’s, so power transfer isn’t as good, but they are a little more forgiving to walk in, especially with the rugged outsole and optional studs.
More an all-day choice than pure racing shoes, but good nevertheless.
