The 160 in the Silca Supermini’s name refers to the maximum pressure achievable – though we think getting up that far would be going some by any standard. But the pump does a have a super-smooth action and is very well shaped, particularly on the carbon-effect handle.
This is 9cm long and flairs out slightly in the middle – at 3cm in diameter it’s a little wider than most. We found this provided a firm foundation for pumping but that the shiny surface became harder to grip when our palms started getting sweaty. It has a reassuringly solid feel though, and clips under your bike’s bottle cage.
