Our review
Great mix of protection, ventilation and snug fitting stability at a decent price

If you like a snug fit, you’ll love the way the new Bontrager Rally slides onto your skull for a closely secure but never cramped feel.

That enables you to run the Headmaster cradle relatively loose so as to avoid pressure points, and while there is a small amount of cradle height adjustment we never had to use it. The extended FlatLock Strap Dividers bridges on the flush fit straps will also appeal to anyone who gets bothered by flap and clatter on their ears or glasses.

The soft moulded peak is fully angle adjustable, from plenty of protection to 'flipped right up to sit your goggles underneath' and it stays where you put it too. Big front and top vents link into deep internal channels with slim padding for impressive air con at all speeds and it drops right down at the back for extra loop-out landing coverage.

The result is a lid that feels like a premium head case without the pumped up cost. If you’re unlucky enough to smash it within the first year of having it, Bontrager will sort you out with a free one. It also comes in various options – black, white, orange and grey/lime – for easy bike/kit syncing.
