The rim is a tweaked version of the 4.2D hoop, combined with 28 tightly-laced aero blade spokes in each wheel. The result is seriously speed boosting. The rims are unbelievably light, stiff and durable for cross-country wheels.
The quietly buzzing Star Ratchet Freehub system engages quickly for immediate drive and the 240S hubs have proven reliable stalwarts for years, however badly we’ve treated them. Tubeless conversion kits are extra. The set comes with quick release skewers and more.
