The enclosed mechanism keeps the business part tucked away out of sight (and out of muck), although you need to make sure that the narrowest part of the lever running to the cam is kept lubricated to eliminate irritating squeaks. These felt a little stretchy getting up to tension – due to the narrow transfer point of force from lever to cam – but they held things together well in use. Currently available at a barmy price.
