Our first time on the Point 'n' Chute really made us take notice. The broad, exploded jigsaw tread is more like a car tyre than a bike one but lots of surface area means smooth, rapid rolling.
Soft Stick It compound gives good adhesion, and it repeatedly surprised us with where it found grip. It's sketchy on really loose stuff and during severe braking/acceleration but it excels on hardpack/rocky/man-made trails. It stays clean on damp, mulchy, rooty stuff compared to other tyres here, with a slight smudge breaking into a controlled slide. The rounded profile means it's also quick to turn in. Despite a reasonable weight, plenty of tread face gives good puncture protection. It's very well priced too.
