With a tread comprising tiny rubber knobs, these are super-quick tyres for messing about on the street.
Like the name implies, these are a set of tyres covered in tiny knobs of rubber. The profile is really round so, unless you’re riding on tarmac, grip is minimal.
Out on the road though, these roll as fast as anything we’ve tested. On paper completely slick tyres are faster, but it's a difference you'd be stretched to pick up by riding.
That profile takes a bit of getting used to but, once you’re there, the soft compound means that you can get the bike right over.
They also make a wicked 70s cop show-style screech under heavy braking. If you’re strictly street and don’t mind round profile tyres, then these are ideal. Just remember to keep them on the tarmac.
