This post has some very nice touches... Take the cast double-bolt inline clamp on top of the thick, machined 6061 aluminium shaft, which allows easy fine-tuning of the saddle angle...
The chances of the post and saddle getting damaged are also greatly reduced by the two-piece head and shaft design, which lets the head rotate in a crash to stop anything bending, and it can be retightened afterwards. Thankfully, while the system allows for flexibility in a bail, it doesn't suffer from any nasty creaking or accidental turning when riding.
The post also has a lifetime warranty, or, as Balfa put it, "break it and we'll replace it". The weight is slightly high for all-round use but the price is excellent.
