The upper part of the P6’s clamp is extremely narrow – just 30mm – and the asymmetric lower cradle can be flipped around. So what? Well, it means you get a wider range of adjustment than usual for positioning your saddle.
That could be especially handy if, say, you use your bike for time-trialling and want to steepen the effective seat angle by a couple of degrees.
The two-bolt clamp gives you great control over the saddle’s tilt and, made from reinforced alloy tubing, it’ll handle all kinds of abuse – even mountain biking.
It’s available in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters and in 300, 350 and 400mm lengths. Our 350/31.6 version weighed a reasonable 238g. A carbon fibre version is available for £145.
