We like the minimal 41g weight of this forged 6061 T6 aluminium seatclamp. The smooth, lengthy lever offers enough leverage to clamp the post tightly and, thanks to the small Teflon sleeve, is easy to close. The price is great and makes this a good budget replacement.
The Teflon sleeve takes a battering very quickly, though, and the tension nut needs to be quite tight to clamp the post firmly. Ours has already worn through to the metal in places. The tool-free adjustment wouldn’t tighten up enough so we had to use an Allen key instead.
