Our review
From comfort levels to weight, there’s nothing to fault with this superior perch

Specialized have made excellent saddles for decades, and the BG Romin Evo Expert is no exception.

It’s light enough to please all but fanatical weight weenies (there’s an even lighter Pro), and despite the massive cut-out and groove through the nose there are no obvious pressure points on the edges.

Grip strips along the cut-out edges stop you sliding around while muscling a big gear, and the dropped nose is aero tuck-friendly. It’s broad enough at the rear to support wider loads without being too bulky for snake-hipped riders.

Shell flex smooths out rough road sections and pothole punches very well too, plus it’s reasonably priced to boot.
