The Pro VIP feels like you’d expect a comfortable saddle to feel, with plenty of squish to the touch. It’s also well made, with a minimal underside that’s easy to keep clean
The cover has a tactile quality that will stop even the least experienced user going overboard and there’s a body-saving central groove.
It is perfect for easier trail days out and riders just getting started, who won’t be putting too many miles in, but once you start riding hard you will want to trade up.
Over longer distances you do start to feel the hard base and we’d want something more manoeuvrable to tackle anything that has a nod towards the sketchy. But if you’re after a saddle to use on non-technical terrain, it’s hard to beat for the money.
