I found the Genetic Syngenic Comp Saddle very comfortable; it soaks up plenty of road shock and didn't give any aches or numbness even on longer rides. It's no sofa, but for a race-weight saddle the Genetic is comfier than most.
The flat nose may not suit everyone but it was fine for me, and as a whole the saddle performed very well.
At under £25, it represents excellent value.
At exactly the stated weight of 198g, the Syngenic Comp is lighter than many saddles twice its price. It's neatly constructed from a nylon base, chromoly rails and synthetic padding and cover, with a fairly wide, flat-topped nose and reasonable level of padding throughout. The base has the now ubiquitous central cutaway and there are also two s-shaped slits at the rear which seem to add a bit more flex.
