New British brand Fabric does things very differently. The high-density padding upon this saddle's flexible hull is covered, then sonically bonded – with the full carbon rails also bonded in place.
It makes for an underside that's free from staples, creases, bolts and so on. It's incredibly smooth and extremely easy to keep clean.
The hull has plenty of flex and – combined with the high-density, low volume padding – it's supremely comfortable too. The lightly textured matt covering gives enough purchase to prevent you slipping and sliding, yet it's smooth enough to allow you to adjust your position easily.
As a race-style saddle its the best we've tried, and more than comfortable enough for long endurance rides. Indeed, it hasn't left one of our main testers' bike since he tried it out – and he’s in no hurry to change anytime soon.
