Anyone who’s been jabbed in the back of the leg by a sharp saddle nose or unexpectedly slipped off the back of a muddy slim-profile perch will know that mountain bike saddles benefit from some specific features, and that’s just what the DIRTY line from Selle San Marco aims to provide.
Once we got over the hectic graphics of the Squod Team we liked this saddle a lot. The manganese rails keep it light (234g), the multi-textured cover provides some grip in the wet, it’s proven to be robust during testing and the size, profile and shape give enough room to adjust your position for climbing without getting in the way when you’re moving around, cornering or jumping.
Oh, and there’s enough padding to reassure your tenderest regions. The Squod Team is a quality saddle at a decent price.
