This carbon reinforced composite version of the Time RXS is a lightweight dream for those roadies wanting a quality svelte pedal.
If you fall into the Time camp rather than the Look one, which so often divides roadies who don’t use Shimano, then the difference here is the float and adjustability.
There’s plenty of scope for set-up, with +/- 5 degrees of float, 2.5mm of lateral float and lateral offset adjustment, so you can tailor them for personal choice, making them especially good for anyone with any knee niggles. A plus note on the cleats is that they’re easier to walk in than most.
Power delivery is superb with the low stack height – you feel every ounce of effort that you put in is transferred through the pedals.
The sleek looking carbon composite bodies run on chromoly axles, but an even lighter titanium-spindled version is available too. It’s almost twice the price at £203.49, though.
