These new plastic-bodied pedals from Nukeproof are made with a reinforced Nylon composite, which we found tough and sturdy. The grip is great and the replaceable pins even use replaceable captive nuts to hold them in. The bearings have taken some serious abuse and are still rolling smoothly. They’re great value for money too.
Our only grumble is that the two non-replaceable pins on each platform are chunkier than the replaceable ones, and felt odd on the inside of our feet when we were wearing thin-soled shoes.
