MKS do a range of removable pedals – including a clipless option – that are handy for folding bikes and when you need to save space, and for discouraging theft if you lock your bike in a public place.
The EZY removable system, which has been updated, is simple to use. The adaptor stays screwed into your crank arm in the usual way and you just twist the cap on the pedal to a marker point then pop it out.
It takes virtually no time, and a spring in there means that the pedal will never come off accidentally. The Esprits comes with a fairly lightweight alloy body and a grippy alloy cage, and you also get a little nylon bag for carrying then in.
