Our review

Lightweight, but more than man enough for the job

Forged from 7075 alloy, this direct mounter certainly stands out from the rest. Our 50mm stem weighed just under 190g and proved it could stand up to plenty of abuse.

The bars stayed in place even after some big crashes, and the zero rise meant everything was kept super-low for better control.

The Truvativ direct mount fits RockShox Boxxers, 2009 and 2010 Fox 40s, and Manitou Dorados, but not Marzocchi 888s
