Ritchey has fully committed itself to oversized bars, and that dedication shows - this is one of the best seamless aluminium XC bars out there.
The TRX50 alu is triple butted and bead blasted (like the Oval Concept bar) to improve durability. It's been proven in competition as well - Ritchey is claiming more World Cup XC wins with this than any other bar. The oversize clamp area (31.8mm) means extra strength and a noticeable increase in rigidity. Listed as being 550mm wide, it's actually 580mm, which is a plus as far as we're concerned. Even though it's not so well-suited to trail or downhill use, this is very near the top of the pile as an XC race bar.
