The Machine Expert grips from Lizard Skins fit easily and securely. Thanks to the raised bobbled grip pattern, grip was very good in all conditions, but on longer rides we found the thinner design didn’t offer quite enough cushion to maintain the same comfort levels.
It’d be nice if there were also a slightly beefier version with the same grip pattern, to make them feel more comfortable on all-day stints on rough trails.
Although some will be fans of the grips’ inboard flange, we found that it ate into grip space, and testers with bigger hands had less room for manoeuvre.
