Easton's composite bar is superlight, with our setup weighing just 440g. It’s also incredibly stiff – heave on the dead-straight ends when you’re powering out of the saddle and there’s virtually zero flex.
The width (centre-to-centre) is just 38cm though, which might keep the weight low but could be an issue if you’re broad shouldered.
You don’t get much adjustment: you can alter the width and angle of the armrests and add riser blocks under the plates, but if you want to shorten the 250mm reach (versions with 225mm and 275mm reach are available) you need to get to work with a hacksaw.
Internal cable routing keeps everything sleek and you get the choice of two different sets of pads – the deeper set kept us comfortable enough over even long distances. Available to fit a 31.8mm stem clamp only.
