Our review
Well priced but don’t feel quite as smooth as most of the rivals

This all-condition cable system is available in gear and brake versions. The carbon braided outers are long enough for full outers – especially useful on rear cable disc brakes – and the plastic tube that slides over the pre-lubricated wires between cable stops is easy to trim, keeping water and dirt away from the inners.

Once fitted, Dirtshields appear to stay weather and crud-proof in the worst conditions, but the cables don’t feel as slick as the similarly-priced Transfil Mudlovers alternatives – we'll post a review of these soon. Clarks tell us they're about to release a new cable system.
