After building a considerable reputation for their wheels, Fulcrum are now expanding their road range, starting with the launch of the Racing Torq RS crankset.

It is a hollow-moulded carbon fibre design weighing just 699g including cups and bottom bracket bearings, and features the Ultra-Torque fitting system introduced by Campagnolo last year. The chainrings in CNC-machined forged aluminium come in 53/39 and 50/34 sizes, with the option of 170, 172.5 or 175mm cranks. First shown at Taipei's International Cycle Show in March, the Torq RS will be available from October.
