Stiff and super-light for its strength – a great race crank

FSA’s Gravity Light crankset is a racer’s dream, with World Championship stripes to back it up. At under a kilo, it really is a serious weight saver for race bikes. It certainly hasn’t hindered Sam Hill in his past couple of seasons.

Despite skinny looks, the hollow forged crank arms feel stiff enough underfoot to sting your feet through rocky sections. Steel pedal inserts, axle and chainring bolts keep everything securely connected too.

The single row bearings and flat arm profile mean they don’t have the strength for too many crashes or super big drops (which is where the standard Gravity comes in). They're well priced too.
