The Loop is made from smoothly forged magnesium with a broad, rounded arch giving reasonable tracking and steering performance, and it's internally adjustable from 80-120mm. It's seriously overweight for the 80-120mm category, though.
The QtapeR 15mm axle is angle adjustable via the rotating retainer but it's sticky to get undone once it’s gritty. White Brothers' Magic magnetically controlled lockout threshold’s been revamped for an effective if clunky adjustable lockout from the basic looking compression knob.
Start of the stroke is notchy when new, with occasional lag from the magnetic catch. As riding hours get into double figures the stuttering smooths out. The air damper controlled bigger hits better than some conventional oil damped forks when it came to rocky red run descents. Previous White Bros forks have been well sealed and reliable; hopefully these will follow suit.
