With its skinny, shallow crown, deeply recessed, scooped and bulged lower leg section the SID comes in ballpark light for racers.
There are loads of lockout/damping/crown material options plus 15mm axle versions. The basic stroke is smooth and progressive, letting you use the full 100mm without worrying about regularly slamming out top or bottom.
Separate positive and negative air springs mean you can set the initial spring feel as supple or stiff as you want. Air pressure guides on the back of the leg are accurate for a decent set-up and there’s a Plimsoll line sag marker for 80 and 100mm travel on the damper side stanchion.
The RLT gets an adjustable lockout threshold and dual flow position sensitive rebound to handle bumps and square edges with composure, letting you ride this fork hard in rocky conditions.
Alternative leg graphics and 80mm spacers are included, and reliability is excellent.
