There are slightly lighter 29er forks out there but the Reba Team 29's construction, tunability and screw-through axle make it our top hard-hitting 120mm-travel option.
Dual positive/negative air springs allow you to make the stroke as supple or stiff as you like and BlackBox damping adds adjustable low-speed compression feel and adjustable lockout threshold. Perfectly controlled rebound on different bump types is welcome on descents.
The handlebar-mounted PushLoc/PopLoc switches are excellent. The score reflects the Team 29's relatively high RRP, but shop around as prices can vary significantly. The 20mm axle could be an issue in the longer term, given the increasing prevalence of the 15mm standard.
