The Time won our last test and gained a few more fans amongst the test riders where it was specified on the very highly commended Time VXR bike tested in our Tour De France superbike grouptest.
The fork has large diameter sections and has remarkably little movement when you squeeze the fork blades together using your hands. Time use amber Vectran fibres in the construction of the steerer tube to help guard against abrasions to the high modulus fibres. You'll need to buy a bung to complete the job.
At 392g this fork is not super light but its superior lateral stiffness can be easily demonstrated by shaking the handlebars when on the move. On most bikes there is a noticeable improvement in stability which will please the competitive rider though some will find this is offset by a harsher ride than they are used to as was confirmed by the lab test.
