First generation generic carbon forks (using carbon blades and steerer) such as this would have been spec'd on high end bikes about five years ago though they have been usurped by the next generation of 100% carbon forks that are both lighter and more resistant to crash damage.
While ITM produce a fork with an inch steerer the 4-Ever is 1 1/8in only and the fork offset is fixed at 4.5cm. There are fully integrated (shown) for hiddenset frames and nonintegrated versions available.
On the handling front the 4 Ever has greater than average fore and aft compliance so it is better suited to slightly built riders. It would be a cost effective upgrade for older bikes but sad that it's not available with the inch steerer.
