Top performing hydraulic disc at a great price

Available in plain black or pimpy white, the Anchor Sport is one of the best performing budget disc brakes on the market.

The low weight (345g front, 365g rear) and easy-fitting, hard-wearing , self-adjusting pads and powerful twin-piston callipers make it an attractive alternative to some of the much more costly big name offerings. Two-bolt interchangeable levers meant we had no problem fitting a rear brake up front flip-flop style.

Careful hose trimming, without bleeding, was easy and there was a spare hose rose/plug included. The 180/160mm (f/r) stainless rotors are quality units and the CNC'd two-finger levers have easy-access reach adjusters. With universal and international standard frame/fork fittings included, this is one of the best fit-and-forget budget discs on the market. It will serve any trail or cross-country price-conscious rider very well indeed.
