Raleigh Brake Lever Aero review

Raleigh Brake Lever Aero review

These Lee Chi manufactured brake levers and synthetic rubber hoods are very similar in profile to the Modolo Speedy levers of the mid 1980s and could prove adequate on a road fixer or cyclo-cross bike.

Okay for small hands

These Lee Chi manufactured brake levers and synthetic rubber hoods are very similar in profile to the Modolo Speedy levers of the mid 1980s and could prove adequate on a road fixer or cyclo-cross bike.

The shape is less than ideal for long journeys and the testers with large hands found them too small for comfort.

We recommend partnering these levers with Ritchey anatomic handlebars as their tight bend provides a flat platform for the palms to rest on. While they work well with cantilevers and calliper brakes, they're incompatible with V-brakes.
