Dia-Compe 287 V-brake Levers review

Dia-Compe 287 V-brake Levers review

These are essentially normal-pull levers that have been re-engineered to make them compatible with V-brakes. Prior to fitting the cables it is essential to strip back the plastic from the outer cable casing so that the wound metal part of the cable fits snugly into the back of the lever housing.

Brake compatible drop bar levers that work really well

These are essentially normal-pull levers that have been re-engineered to make them compatible with V-brakes.

Prior to fitting the cables it is essential to strip back the plastic from the outer cable casing so that the wound metal part of the cable fits snugly into the back of the lever housing. In use they provide a greater level of feel at the handlebar lever than other drop bar levers such as Campagnolo Ergopower or Shimano STI, so they can be highly recommended if you want the improved stopping power of V-brakes. They work well with other brakes too and the adjusters on the cable noodle add convenience.
