Ideal for heavy-duty users and bikes with chain devices

When it comes to bottom brackets that actually spin well for a whole downhill race season, Shimano are in the hot seat everytime.

The updated bearings and seals in the Saint unit are the same as in XT/SLX bottom brackets, which means they last just as well if you’re putting the miles in.

However, the longer driveside bearing cup means there’s more thread left in the frame once you’ve clamped an E-Type (non-ISCG) chain device into position.

This also makes them more suitable for singlespeeders or other transmission tweakers who need to lock a guide in place.
