Our review
Subtle strides for on and off the bike – but expensive

Rapha's trousers are designed to be cycle-friendly but not look out of place when you’re off the bike.

They’re made from a durable polyamide/cotton/polyurethane mix with a touch of crossways give – not stretchy, but enough to allow unhampered pedalling – and they’re cut slim so they don’t flap in the wind.

The seat lining is reinforced for a little extra comfort while a rubber gripper inside the waistband holds them in place as you ride. You get hip pockets, one with an internal compartment, and a zipped one round the back.

Finishing quality is excellent, and as ever with Rapha, they’re expensive, but if you don’t mind spending this kind of money they’re more comfortable for riding than normal civvies. Available in 30-38in waist sizes, 34in leg.
