This merino base layer from EDZ is ergonomically cut to produce a snug fit that works nicely under every jersey we’ve tried it with. It’s made from 100 per cent Merino wool, which makes it soft and comfortable even when you’re sweaty. We found that the short-sleeved design was great for early-morning winter rides, where it kept our body temperature just right even when the mercury dropped.
In fact, we found it handled more than just crisp mornings when paired with a long sleeve jersey. Our only niggle is the length – a bit more drop at the rear would be good to ensure it doesn’t ride up when you’re wearing a pack.
