The lightweight Angel boasts the same excellent light reactive photochromatic lens found on Endura’s Piranha mountain bike glasses and Marlin road shades.
You get the same soft-touch temple overlays and rubber nose piece, ‘squashed-doughnut’ carry case and microfibre bag, and it comes with a spare clear lens, making this pair of glasses suitable for year-round use.
However, it's the inherent flex necessary for the lens swapping that's this product's downfall – the Angel feels a lot more flimsy than the other Endura glasses we've tested and the arms are so bendy that it's nigh on impossible to get them to sit straight on your face.
The lens sits uncomfortably close to your eyes, too, and construction isn't up to the standard we've come to expect from Endura – the logo on one of the arms fell off the first time we tried to change lenses.
Unless you're desperate to have interchangeable lenses, we'd recommend saving up an extra £10 and going for the Piranha or Marlin instead.
