Our review
Bold design, but it works well

Pros:

Good lens clarity, on-trend styling

Cons:

Not for shy, retiring riders

French online cycling apparel experts Ekoi has had a long partnership with plenty of pro-teams and its latest collaboration with Quick-Step lead to these rather stand-out PE9 Quickstep Sunglasses.

The shape is very much on trend with the deeply wrapped shield lens and slightly eighties' design cues, But the PE9s have one of the biggest frames we’ve seen, even putting the out-there Scott Shields to shame for in (on) your face styling.

The chunky frame has metal hinged arms with thick tacky grips, and the big frame has large vents, so surprisingly the 57mm deep lens didn’t suffer from fogging.

The lens clarity is excellent, but the tint is dark so these work best on sunnier days. The lens is deeply wrapped and along with the stiffly-sprung frame's dimensions they almost having a goggle-like feel.

If you don’t like the metallic blue and white of this Quickstep model there are a wealth of options, or you can go custom and specify your own frame colour, arm colour, contrast colours and lens for the same price.
