Excellent quality, but £100 more than our regular go-to goggles

The ID2 goggles from Adidas certainly pack in a lot of features, but then at this sort of money, they should do. First off there’s the two-frame levelling that makes for a better fit no matter what lid you use.

In our Troy Lee Designs D3 helmet they were on the right side of snug and very comfortable thanks to the multi-density foam. That same foam also helps suck up moisture when you’re getting sticky.

Then there are the cooling features, which do seem to work. The goggles only fogged up slightly on the muggiest of days. Otherwise they’ve remained consistently fog-free even when we were hammering multiple runs.

Vision is great thanks to the high quality lens, which is robust and distortion-free as well as being easily changeable. We can’t ignore the price here though.
