These bib shorts are made from the same Fiandre NoRain fabric as the matching Sportful jersey, so share similar windproof and water-repellent qualities, with all but the heaviest rain being kept out.
The silver Clima Zone silicone coating on the backside and around the fronts of the thighs provides further shower protection where you need it most.
The coating works well even if it feels clammy to the touch, but it’s only on the shorts’ exterior so is not something that bothers you while riding. The shoulder straps are narrow but in no way uncomfortable, and a mesh back takes good care of sweat transportation.
A seamless pad with variable thickness is dense enough to get you through even the longest rides in comfort.
