Suiting longer days in the saddle, the Specialized RBX Comp bib shorts have a multi-density pad that provides a supportive ride. Its wide front is thin and stretchy, and, while the rear seems relatively narrow, there is plenty of support under the sit bones.
There’s a bit more friction between skin and pad than in other bibs, but once everything is in the right place the Comps are pleasant to wear. The bibs as a whole perform well, with a narrow strip of perforated material running up the back, a wide leg gripper and a low stretchy front, though the braces did feel a little short.
