The Katanas are a great looking pair of shorts. The seven- panel design has a clean cut, an appealing matt finish and a seamless front panel.
The straps are a touch tight for my long torso, but fine when leaning forward over the bike. The straps themselves are full Lycra, and the back is cut low, with a mesh panel, for good ventilation. The silicon leg grippers feel just right, leaving no tell tale marks. The pads a bit shorter and firmer than some, needing an extra couple of washes to soften it up. There are big reflective Briko logos on either leg and one on the lower back, making these shorts ideal for commuting. Great quality for the price.
