Our review

Comfy pad and good on cooler days, but quite short in the bib area

The Altura Ergofit Comp bib shorts are comfortable, and the pad is a highlight – various densities and thicknesses provide comfort and ventilation, and its treatment with antibacterial silver should help with any pong.

The rear Lycra panel rises up high on the back, providing extra warmth on cooler rides, but it gets sweaty when the tempo rises. Despite being a large size, our bibs felt a little short, and the narrow width of the braces was apparent.

For those short in the torso they’re a decent option, but for us they could have done with being a little longer.
